Getting the Most from this Video Lecture Series

Watch the video lecture at least two times. Use your first viewing to get an overall impression of the topic and they way it is presented. Take note of any particularly new and interesting ideas.

See if you can outline the presentation. This is not always possible, however; especially in those instances where the professor tends to ramble on a off-subject topic.

The second time you view the lecture, take more detailed notes about the things you find most important or unexpected. Use the pause/play button to control the pace of the lecture.

When you are satisfied you have gotten as most as you need from the lecture, use the Google search box (below) to validate and expand your new-found knowledge.

And make heavy use of your personal learning journal for this course.  Aside from playing a vital role in your studies, a completed learning journal is your "certificate" of completion. It shows the actual work you have done.
