The study of criminal justice traditionally revolves around three main components of the criminal justice system:

  • police
  • courts
  • corrections

The pursuit of criminal justice is, however, related to studies of psychology, anthropology, economics, history, law, political science, sociology, and theology.

The Criminal Justice curriculum at Free-Ed.Net is not intended to be a substitute for studies at an accredited, degree-granting college. Rather, it serves as a supplement for formal training and serves a need for looking into the nature of criminal justice careers before committing to a college experience.
