General Biology

There are two levels of general biology. The first refers to courses that provide a broad, but relatively superficial, view of of the life sciences. Such programs are often taught as science requirements for non-science majors. The second level refers to the non-technical aspects of biology, such as its history, philosophy, and social implications,

Anatomy & Physiology

Anatomy and physiology, here in the College of Science, refers to the anatomical structure and physiology of the entire animal kingdom, from jellyfish to human beings. This is different from Anatomy and Physiology courses in the College of Nursing and Allied Health, where the subjects are exclusively human.
