The School of Algebra is divided into two
departments: The Department of Algebra and the
Department of College Algebra. Use first option in
cases where the learner is looking at algebra for
the first time and still lacks a sense of learning
maturity—needs to be
closely guided and rewarded for satisfactory work,
for example. Use the college-level version where the
learner is anticipating a technical career and
courses in higher levels of mathematics.
