The School of Algebra is divided into two departments: The Department of Algebra and the Department of College Algebra. Use first option in cases where the learner is looking at algebra for the first time and still lacks a sense of learning maturityneeds to be closely guided and rewarded for satisfactory work, for example. Use the college-level version where the learner is anticipating a technical career and courses in higher levels of mathematics.

Dept of Algebra

Courses and study resources in the Department of Algebra are intended for people who have not yet developed the learning skills and sense of mathematical rigor that is required for college-level algebra.

Dept of College Algebra

Courses and learning resources in the Department of College Algebra are designed for people who need to function comfortably in math and science programs at the college level. This means the principles are presented in their more general and rigorous forms.
