Print journalism began an agonizing
downsizing during the first years of the 21st century.
Public impression and, particularly, the growing level of red
ink in the hardcopy news business has sealed the fate of a
once-bustling and widely romanticized business.
Even so, there is a place for the hardcopy survivors and
apprentices who have the passion, courage, and preparation to
make it work for them. This office at Free-Ed.Net is
dedicated to them (as well as pop-culture sociologists and
historians).
