The objective of this program is to help you develop your literary research skills to the point where you can publish a responsible piece of original research on your own blogsite.

We haven't a clue where you should start. We can provide resources, but you have to determine for yourself where you should jump in.

The first goal for most would-be literary scholars (in this new age) is to sharpen their composition skills by doing simple book reviews -- not 'book reports' ... book reviews.

Suggestions:

  1. Amazon.Com encourages people to submit reviews of their book products.  So why not do some reviews of your favorite classics and anthologies? This will help develop your writing skills, build some confidence, and let you take some first baby steps toward a viable reputation as a literary scholar.
  2. Set up your own book-review blog. Blogger

There is rarely any merit in being a scholarly hermit. Your best work will most likely be the result of interacting with other people of like passions and interests. In our new age of scholasticism, the most active and fruitful networks are called "social networks." We strongly suggest you create and participate in the following:

Facebook
Twitter
Blogger
