For Younger People.

Free-Ed.Net was launched in 1997 as a source of free online learning tools for adult learners. Except for a pre-algebra course, the content was intended for people getting a postsecondary education. As the site developed, it became apparent that some of the academic content could be configured for college prep (AP, SAT, etc.). Now with common-core education standards becoming the norm for public education around the world, Free-Ed.Net is gradually expanding its scope to include ancillary or supplementary learning experiences for middle- and high-school learners.

Note:  Free-Ed.Net is a supplement, not a substitute, for a formal education at the primary and secondary levels. We do not encourage young people to drop out of school with the intention of substituting a GED or equivalent.
